NOTE, APPUNTI E SUGGERIMENTI DEL GIORNO

• Quando qualcuno entra nella vostra dimora, chiedetegli di togliersi le scarpe. Se si rifiuta offritegli delle babbucce o dei pedalini puliti; se mostra ancora resistenza non lo fate entrare o riempirà l'aria del suo malcontento.
• Gli amici che frequentavo quando ero un ragazzo, ad Acqui Terme, a Torino, a Genova e a Sestri Levante, sono quasi tutti o morti (nel senso di deceduti e non di bipedi dormienti), o impiegati in banca, o avvocati o infelicemente sposati.                                                               Io sono ancora qui, vivo, sano e libero.

• When someone enters your home, ask him to remove his shoes. If he reject it, then offer to him slippers or socks clean; even if it shows you resistance, don't permit him to enter or  will fill the air of his discontent.
• The friends that I attended when I was a boy, in Acqui Terme or Turin, Genoa and Sestri Levante, they are all dead or (in the sense of the deceased and not of dormant bipeds), or employees in the bank, or lawyers, or unhappily married. I'm still here, alive, healthy and free.
